I’m a Japanese living in Shanghai as a student, and I did experience a period of ‘stay home’ from January to April. I was suffering with just 4 months, dealing with online classes. I really couldn’t imagine life in foreign countries... so glad I live in Shanghai
that was a painful period for residents here like me at that time.. we simply barely went outside and remember what west said? they accused it's inhumane. now they taste the bitterness of their own foolishness.
